How Online Backup Works
Step 1: Software Installation
- Download the software from our website after you place an order.
- Use the default options to install in less than 2 minutes.
Step 2: Select Data to Backup
- You can select any data you would like to be backed up. There is no limit in file size or type.
- For our customer’s convenience, the most popular choices such as Outlook and My Documents are shown by default.
- Additional data can be selected using advanced options.
Step 3: Schedule the Backup
- Your backup will run automatically at the time you prefer. You can also manually start a backup at any time.
- Your data is encrypted and compressed before being sent to our data center.
- Our encryption method is the same banks, financial institutions and the government use. For an added layer of security, after your data is encrypted, it is sent over a second encrypted connection to our network. Your data is never exposed.
- Our data center is a world class facility with redundant internet and power providers, fire suppression and biometric security. It is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week in order to provide maximum uptime and security.
